They mashed up the Grimm fairytales but I still enjoyed the stories. I'm a big fan of the original books and felt it was closely related but I didn't like how they changed the boy's complexion throughout the Netflix series. My Mom is light and my Dad is dark, I'm light and my sister is dark, it's not out of the ordinary to have siblings with different complexions which I feel was awesome to experience in the series. I'm hoping the future holds more relative circumstances we can all relate to. Otherwise it was an excellent Netflix series I will watch many times.
