Daimos Z

The show is pretty great! While the English dub (and the special effects) may not have aged terribly well, the actors in the dub sound decent and the Robot himself is a legitimate hero in the series. Giant Robo goes from being just a mindless machine to developing a conscience by the end of the series right until the last scene he is in. While there have been 2 well made anime remakes (retellings more like it) made in Japan, I hope Toei can get permission from Hikari Productions (the estate who owns the Giant Robo characters) to make a movie sequel/reboot of the 1960's series because I'd love to see Giant Robo shine once more. (and maybe get the 2005 Giant Robo anime pilot greenlight as a Netflix exclusive)
