This was not so much an action sci-fi as it was a horror movie. Should have had an R rating. We took kids to see this and had to take the younger one out of the theater. Even my teen grandson admitted that it was a little over the top, although he did like it. Parents who care about what disturbing visual effects their younger kids are exposed to should think twice.
