(spoiler warning)
Amazing movie.
Slow paced and had many MANY layers. people who get it, get it and those who don't, don't. Horror is not all jumpscares and gore.
When the movie started I was SAT. Didn't even get up to refill popcorn or anything (even when it was very much needed)
The ending seemed rushed, I didn't get it all that well but it was still really good. I was genuinely surprised at the mother helping and Lee Harker (the protagonist) having been almost a victim of longlegs. Sort of expected him to, you know, have long as hell legs.
The protagonist has pretty apparent Autism (from what I can tell) and I love it. There isn't a lot of representation of Autism in most horror movies.
I laughed at quite a few parts, there is some more gorey parts but I really think it's more of a psychological horror than really anything else.
I definitely recommend watching it if you like a slower paced movie.
