I appreciate the show because it exposes the turmoil everyday families go through. I'm grateful that they provide additional support after the show. During the show I'm like wait what???!!! The judgement during the show I don't agree w/because I feel you need to meet w/the family prior to form a REAL response as things play out. I work from home, so I watch daily. The I'm paralyzed and my daughter disrespects me" warranted me to write this review. This new age tolerated disrespect is baffling. Yes, we should hear the kids out yet in NO WAY should it come across as acceptable. This isn't the first time I've seen Karamo justify unacceptable behavior by kids. I understand hearing them out and responding accordingly. I don't feel Karamo responds in a way that's beneficial for both parties. This girl was smiling thru her disrespect to her mom and brother. Just an example. Yet Karamo will say, oh she's just a kid doing what kids do. Um, no! I work in human service seeing 12-year-old becoming moms vs kids of drug addicts and they all don't treat their parents the same. The one's that WANT TO BE GROWN is the ones. And we can't blame it on the parents, the WORLD is too impressionable on kids that's making them this way. I'm damn near 50 from Chicago. The old me would snatch their soul yet God says continue to pray because we haven't experienced the worst yet.
