I loved this film for its mix of thought provoking pathos and gallows humour. Yes you can pick holes in it, but the overall experience is one of admirable acting in a very human story. 4.5 stars for me, and don't be put off by the cliched "left wing woke" claptrap!

An intriguing read, like most of his novels. Wasn't sure where it was going in the end, a dream within a dream. Above all though, it's a great social comment, and thought provoking.
