I listened to the audiobook read by the author. Initially I thought what do I have in common with a woman's coming of age story from Central Florida? I grew up in Illinois in a good but relatively average home. Then I realized only the location was different but many of my childhood experiences were the same. This is an honest and sweet memoir that will touch your heart. I was sad when it ended.
