The shows first episode was ok. There seemed to be a lot of wasted time, although it moved along some parts seemed very slow. I was slightly upset about how she became she-hulk,(one of my favorite comics, dan slott's run with it was well done. Every comic fan should read it.) Banner had to give her blood to save her life not knowing what the side effects of hulk blood might be. Would nothing happen, would she cause havoc as a new hulk? In the end he decided her life was worth the chance of what may or may not happen. She became a hulk who can control her own changes.
My main problem was the fact they made Banner look rather ignorant to the plight of women through the years. The stupid bumbling man who has no idea (not that they dont exist but why promote it) You really dont need to degrade one person in order to make another look brighter. I know women have been degraded in the past and there was(still is) a lack of strong female characters in movies and television, but I am sure talented script writers can do a better job of giving a woman a better script. Hopefully they will get it right on future episodes. I love this comic character and I am really hoping they get it right.
