I liked the movie, but I liked the 1st one better. But I don't understand the logic, an it doesn't make sense that Helen was kidnapped by government officials, thrown on a Helicopter, the Alien came thru the forest, put a force field around himself, directed the ambition up towards the copters an Helen was in one of those copters, both copters blew up in a big explosion, so now how are we seeing Helen walk into a government bldg with police unharmed, it doesn't make sense.

Superb acting, colorful scenery, wicked interpretation, but excellent historical connotations.

This island earth is one of my fav sci Fi movies from the 1950's I was 2 yes old when this film was produced. Wonderful Color and special effects makes this one of my favorite Classics.
