The book is about 2 inseparable friends. It also shows a relationship between topi and iffan's grandmother which is so sweet and emotional. It shows how a Hindu boy is ill treated by his own family only because he had friendship with a Muslim boy.It shows social difference . It tells the grief of child who had failed in class constantly. Overall all it also shows mind set of a child which is portrayed by author RAHI MASOOM RAZA with such perfection. The book's content isn't overall very good. Must read book if you want such emotions,sweetness and at the same time a bitter truth of a suffering child in a single book.
