Well, we all know the story of Mary and we would’ve loved to have seen the story of Mary portrayed by these great actors! Unfortunately, we got someone who thinks they can rewrite the Bible and tell us a whole other story. Our family was so excited to watch it to get the spirit of Christmas going in our home. How disappointing! Mary raised in a Jewish convent. They didn’t have anything like that. Mary just meeting Joseph by chance, we know they were related. And what happened to Joseph being a carpenter? And since when did Mary and Joseph start for Egypt and then turn back to take Jesus to the temple? It was several months or years before the wisemen actually arrived. But I think the worst was putting Mary in that horrible atmosphere in the temple when she was actually a young devout Jewish girl Living her best life. How sad to distort her life like that. And I can’t even tell you how horrifying the angel Gabriel was. Imagine, the Angel Gabriel, A glorified being, who stood in the presence of God, looking like Satan!! It’s just beyond me. The actors all did a great job, but the writers and directors should be fired!!! If you’re trying to compete with the chosen, you better up your game!
