Enjoyed it, watched it in one day. Very interesting to see the decisions people made. Observing Sergio’s and everyone else’s behavior made for an exciting show.
I can see why they ended it that way. I saw it coming once he turned and reached his hand out to her. But I wish it were different. His smirk was a little much. But it reminded me of her premise that he was a malignant narcissist, and not a psychopath. At the same time, they could have played it out differently. For the most part he seemed to genuinely want to mind his own business, and to have been driven to insanity in both instances. And It’s not clear if Noa is a reliable narrator. The smirk though…
The psychiatrist was very manipulative and anti-social, but it wasn’t clear if that was due to her philia-fueled obsession, or if her personality made her act on her philia in the first place and become obsessed enough to send the letters, adopt his sister, and dedicate the rest of her career to studying him. I liked the foreshadowing of that earlier in the series when she was “empathizing” with the girlfriend by normalizing hybristophilia. It was just a really fun look at human behavior. Morality and depravity and at one point one becomes the other. I don’t think “plot” or plausibility was the point.
I really enjoyed it : )
