I am so glad I checked this out of the library instead of purchasing. I question how Bohannon gathered her information. The first chapter of the book presented a myth as fact that pregnancy leeches calcium from a mother’s teeth. As a dental hygienist, I know this to be false. It’s one of the many common dental myths we debunk while in school. The author immediately lost her credibility after that. I was so excited to read this book! What a disappointment.
