A brilliant adaptation of Satyajit Ray's four short stories. The stories were timed at 19th Century and were perfect for that time. Adapting those stories into current timeline was easy. But I must say, it is a very good job done. Some Ray Nazis will say that its a blasphemy to Ray's art, that story was distorted beyond imagination. But I say, why not?? I need to have an open mind while watching a piece of art. And the storytelling style, climaxes, cinematography everything was far better than average Indian cinema. Its a good thing that Indian directors are working with international production houses. I will give 5 out of 5 stars to Ray as a long waited upgrade of Indian cinema.
