Honestly I feel like some of the reviews are on the harsh side. It's a really well put together film with many great moments. I thoroughly enjoyed the humor behind it; Jamie Foxx is as crazy as usual and really adds a welcome and excellent dimension to the humorous side of things. As for the Annie character; an excellent performance delivered by a very talented young girl, and even at her age she's able to deliver a very convincing tale. Some touching tear-jerk moments there. The cast overall is great, and every member has their solid place in this movie. I wish I could've watched it when it was released; only just recently saw a re-run on satellite tv. I give it a big two thumbs up!!

Great action once it gets going. Strong storyline and never deviates from the main plot. Will most likely watch again - cinema value is great. However, do your best to sit as far away as possible from other more excitable cinema goers who might get a little too excited and ruin the cinema experience a bit! Verdict: 4.5/5

It’s light-hearted fun so try not to take it too seriously; you’ll enjoy it better that way. For me the two best characters were played by Kevin Hart and Regina Hall, and those two really cracked me up the whole time! It’s fun, enjoy!

Corny, clichéd, dull, predictable, etc. etc. etc. I’m pretty sure we can all spend our time a little bit better than wasting this limited, precious resource watching this movie! It tries to be something it so painfully will never be. Final verdict: 1/5

A complete waste of time with corny lines and predictable theme. I was particularly disappointed by Michael Keaton's well below average delivery. I suppose no matter how good an actor one can be, there's no saving a really bad script.
