"Call Me Bae" Review: A Gen-Z Tale with a Standout Performance by Ananya Panday "Call Me Bae" is undoubtedly tailored for the Gen-Z audience, filled with unexpected twists and turns that, at times, lean towards the illogical. Despite this, the series manages to keep viewers engaged with its fast-paced plot and bold narrative choices. Ananya Panday shines as Bae, delivering a performance that is both chic and compelling. She brings a surprising depth to her character, making Bae’s journey—from wealth to self-discovery—feel relatable. Her portrayal of a privileged heiress navigating the complexities of love, identity, and personal growth is one of the highlights of the series. However, the storyline is not without its flaws. It takes a controversial stance, often justifying Bae's morally ambiguous decisions, such as cheating and bouncing between relationships, while still portraying her as a victim of heartbreak and struggle. This raises questions about how the series attempts to balance moral lessons with the realities of modern relationships. Overall, while the narrative might leave some viewers divided, "Call Me Bae" remains an interesting watch, primarily due to its engaging storytelling and Panday's dynamic performance.

Kalki was a well made movie. The VFX and SFX was top notch at par with Hollywood movies. The movie is futuristic with a post apocalyptic Sci fi plot coupled with Mahabharata. The movies effects reminded me a bit of Mad Max, GOTG and Water World but the story line was unique. Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwathama was great. Every actor was good, wished to see more of Dilquer Salman and my crush Disha Patani 😍 😍 Will wait for part 2 and see how the plot unfolds.

If you have been a fan of the franchise, you will love this one too. Yes let's not debate about the plot and it's logic, but it is hilarious with perfect comic timings and dilogues. Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Navjot, Richa Chaddha and Puliik deliver well for the movie. It's a must watch.

It's a great action drama but the story lacks sense and logic to me.

Extremely poorly scripted with poor actors and very below average dialogues. It will bore you to the core. Alia Bhatt in her 10 min wannabe hall of fame tries to be a Hollywood actor but fails as miserably as she has in Bollywood. Skip it.

The ending will bring tears in your eyes, the sacrifice made by a great soldier & his likes, no words can compensate for the loss and the sacrifice by a soldier & their families. I loved this movie, the narration was beautiful and actors like Prakash Raj & Revathi were the core while the rest of the cast did their best. A must watch movie for every Indian.

I am such a big fan of the series that I have watched it 4 times. Sadly the movie is not as good as the series though it was a delight watching my favorite characters Uthred, Finan & Sithric along with Father Pyrlig in this last treatise. Somehow felt that the story was rushed in to fit the 1.53 hours & this could have been better executed as a final season. There was lot to be shown around the rise of Aethelestan & the events but Netflix decided to kill this masterpiece by giving a last 1.53 hours to it.

I don't know where do I begin from to praise this amazing work. Adapted from Bernard Cornwell's 'The Saxon Chronicles', the series is a master piece. I watched it 5 times in the binge, I lived as Uthred of Bebbanburg and became a die hard fan of every character in the series. Every seasons gives you a new adventure, new characters & something to miss. I wish some of the characters were not killed or died. Alfred the great played by David Dawson was one of the best TV characters I have watched till date. The Lady of Mercia, leaves you in tears as she leaves Uthred forever and the actress Millie Brady left me in love with her forever. Some of the other amazing characters we will always miss are that of Father Beocca, Aethelwold, Gisela, Lord Odda, Leofrich, Steappa, Brida & Aethelred. And last but not the least Alexander Dreymon leaves an impression by carrying ahead the difficult and cplex character of Uthred. I am waiting for 'Seven Kings Must Die' impatiently and wished this series never ended.

A sequel to the events of the previous Black Panther movie, is not the tribute we expected to Chadwick Boseman, but they did run a footage in the end as a memory. Somehow I found the movie quiet slow and the plot picking up pace a little bit only after the interval. The introduction of Shuri as the new BP was nothing that we did not expect. The MCU seems to be moving slowly into a new era with 19-20 year old upcoming super heroes for the next generation. Moreover the handover of MCU to Disney does have an impact & somehow I personally don't like the transition or the taste now. A 3 stars for the SFX and VFX. 2 stars down for the storyline and the way support characters were shaped and handled in the movie.

2022 watching this movie again & visiting the erstwhile battlefield of Longewala, what a feeling! I think this is the best career performance of Sunny Paaji. Nothing can be better that revisiting the saga of 120 bravehearts of Longewala. JP Dutta created a cinematic Marvel in 1997 with his direction and depiction of battle scenes. I will rate this as the best Indian war movie till date & my favourite ever after 'The Guns of Navarone'.
