I really wanted to like this movie! It was fun and cute until Barbie went to the 'real world' but once there it just spiraled into nonsense. Characters with no back story (and honestly not much 'front story either'), the storyline just kind of fell apart and I'd have to say the last 30 minutes were actually just painful.
