I’m giving it a 4 bc I’m really picky with books but this one I read through pretty quickly. What struck me as the main message throughout the book was Hannah’s devotion to her husbands message “protect her.” And the way she becomes mama bear to her stepdaughter. The story of them discovering the mystery to this person they both loved and are linked through, Owen. The only thing is I wish is the ending could have been a bit more climatic. A good finish that leaves you breathless, not wanting the book to be over. This ending was more like a door (the book) slowly closing to its ending. One more thing, the repetitiveness of the sentence “this stopped me” or this stops him was annoying and way overdone! Either way I still loved it
