Excellent casting of Spoon. The rest was mediocre and yes, I read the books first. Struggling to get through the first episode. I love how they make actors walk through garden beds to make a place look overgrown when there’s a clear path right there. Huge fan of Mr Coben. It’s often difficult when transitioning from book to screen but obviously what makes the book so good is how each character is written and where the story takes us. Perhaps it’s trying too hard with the changes it’s made. Perhaps the changes weren’t as necessary as thought and obviously Mr Coben had it right when he wrote it.
