A 13 episode wonder, that's what "mad for each other" is!! What an underrated gem I stumbled upon! Honestly, I was going through a slum with kdramas since a few months, watched a few shows but nothing had the "wow" factor, and then I come across this show and boy am I glad I did! Firstly just 13 episodes and about 30-35 mins per episode, there wasn't much I was expecting, and did it surprise me from the very first episode! I don't want to give away any spoilers, but if you haven't seen this one, please go and watch it, you won't be disappointed! Jung woo, made me fall in love with him in reply 1994, and he reminded me why in this drama! His innocent eyes and smile and brilliant acting, what a perfect "oppa package"! Oh yeon-so's portrayal of Min-kyung was amazing! Both the main leads and supporting cast were fabulous! All in all it was a beautiful journey of 13 episodes and this show has my heart 💜

*Reply 1988* I just finished watching this show and I can actually write an entire essay on this but this has to be one of my favorite k-dramas! I haven't felt these kind of emotions while watching a Single series, I have smiled, like there is no tomorrow, cried and laughed. Such a beautifully made show, each character development throughout the series is phenomenal, you feel so connected to each character! I just didn't want this show to end! I have a soft spot for Park Bo-Gum, but every actor played their respective parts amazingly. The story line in it's simplicity actually is so layered and the way each layer is peeled off is just such a treat to watch! For everyone who hasn't watched this show, I am not even kidding, stop what you are doing and watch it! It's the most wholesome show I've seen, and this for me will go down as being one of my favorites! Like, I said, I can write an essay, but I'll stop right here! Enjoy going into the world of this beautiful neighborhood in 1988!
