It has an interesting plot but it’s not very well written. By page 40 I had found things even a novice editor should’ve picked up.
I suppose this is like 50 Shades where the appeal is solely the “spice” and not actually the quality of the writing. Idk.
It wasn’t a terrible read but it certainly wasn’t worth the $30 I paid for it. I can’t see myself getting the second book because the first didn’t pull me in enough.
There were too many inconsistencies and things didn’t add up or make sense. I personally wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone that enjoys dark romance because I would be a little embarrassed about recommending something that isn’t up to the quality of other books I’ve recommended.
We all read for different reasons, if you like plots that make sense, characters that are likable, dialogue that sounds natural and normal, I would not recommend this book.
