This was such a good movie, I even personally liked it more than the first in terms of plot and characterization. The storyline was well-thought out, the way they brought-back names like Moriarty and Watson was so well written and intriguing. Tewksbury and Enola’s relationship felt realistic and had all the classic awkward young-adult moments and interactions that I hoped for.
I highly recommend, and it is definitely worth your time. Perhaps not a full family movie (there was slight gore and dead bodies, and other themes probably not something I’d let little kids watch, but that’s my opinion), but definitely enjoyable for a wide range of ages, and it is so fun to be a detective along with Enola and try to guess who’s the next bad guy as the movie progresses.
