It was a low budget dud. I mean come on, one oompa loompa replicated with cgi 100 times. Depp is also creepy in a pedophile way. The original Wonka taught kids good life lessons. The life lesson here is don't let Tim Burton direct a movie about teaching kids life lessons. He should stick to his dark fables for goth and emo kids. I bet he was a goth or emo growing up in a single parent home and wants to give the emo kids hopeless movies they can relate to.

You watch 1:50 of a movie that could have had a decent ending, but instead they went with 10 minutes of simon-sez at the end. All-in-all a waste of your time to watch. I mean they cram strong females in a sci-fi movie, a cancer patient, and an affair for bad measure, then release this turd on the public. If you like movies with women who act like men, with a bizzare plot and a terrible ending, then this movie is for you!
