The Voroniny is a hilarious comedy that aires on CTC and has a great all star cast of talented performers, As I stated The Voronins (Воронины, Voroniny) is a Russian version of the American TV show "Everybody Loves Raymond," except the scripts are better and the actors superior. To be honest I rarely watched "Everyone Loves Raymond" as the scripts were weak in the humor. The talented cast of "Everyone Loves Raymond" suffered from weak writing and weaker yet comedy. The Voroniny's main stars are: Georgy Dronov, Yekaterina Volkova, Boris Klyuyev, Stanislav Duzhnikov, Anna Frolovtseva. Duzhnikov, who is one of my personal favorite actors, was required to lose 20 kg for the role. During the filming of the show's 455th episode, it was inducted into the Guinness Book of Records as the longest adapted television show in the world. It even beat the American programme "All in the Family" which was an adaptation of the British comedy, "Till Death Us Do Part". In 2015, the show was one of the top 5 most watched Russian programs that were not series premieres.
