Victoria 2021

This whole show gave me a headache....The entire story was predictable and cliche. The story was dragged too much with unnecessary twists and plotlines. This story started out great but after episode 16 all went downhill when the writers decided to use the amnesia ploy. Annoyingly, the male lead conveniently develops amnesia repeatedly but somehow retains a fluctuating part of his memory....The stupidity of the male lead irritated me especially when he repeatedly fell for the drama of SaRa despite just finding out he was cheated by her a few seconds prior. The female lead despite knowing the things that happened during each period of amnesia decides to just remain a mute spectator. The female lead's dad was literally having an affair with his old GF (the FL secret mom), but somehow it was made acceptable. Everyone in this drama always ignored the simple solutions and complicated their lives repeatedly for no reason. The female lead just keeps crying every episode like a leaking tap of glycerine. The plot of romance between a widower dad and a younger girl seems promising and has had great success as a plotline in The Sound of Music, Jane Eyre etc, but here it fails badly after starting on a promising note. There is absolutely no chemistry between the male and female leads...in fact the romance between the two is non existential. Further I feel the male lead and the main villian Sara had better chemistry. The only sensible characters in the show were the 2 younger children who had more common sense than any of the adult characters. Overall a plot that held promise but fizzled out to an annoyingly stupid, insanely lengthy show with 52 episodes of 1hr 10 min....if you really wanna watch fast forward the last 30 episodes....
