I spent the entire 100 minutes of this movie waiting for a scare that never happened. Why is this movie being marketed as a horror? The movie should have been marketed as a drama. Anna Diop, Michelle Monaghan and Sinqua Walls did an excellent job of bringing these fully formed characters to life, but unfortunately, the story was predictable based on what was possibly too much foreshadowing. No horror, and not much of a surprise ending.
