It's Sahid Kapoor this time with his renegading and villanic character, Subhair. The film is a remake of a French film Sleepless Night (2011). The film is sets mainly on a single night just like movies like Dial 100 which makes it more compact and straight to the point. The setting of the film is during lockdown India. It involves thrilling action scenes with an emotional touch of father's love. The film's storyline is unique. It's rightly set and made the audience to question everytime " What happens next?" . Here Subhair a NCB cop , a divorcee and a single father gets his kidnapped by a drug mafia. Subhair becomes desperate to do anything for his child's rescue. The story has several twist and turns hence the plot could not be revealed otherwise it would be a spoiler. The climax is even more thrilling because it's open ending. It may be the first time I can perceive and be satisfied with villain's win. The movie is little bit out of the track of stereotypical Bollywood. It can have bit of resemblance to Rocky Handsome of John Abraham. The movie also has a quite good cinematography. There is also a touch of mild humour. But the film is brutal and violent. It doesn't serves every age group but can be popular among youth. Like every film Sahid Kapoor's personality and Ronit Roy's boldness were the sparks in the barrel of gun powder. The IMDb rating of the film is 8/10 , which is surprisingly much more than usual. I would rate it 4.6 /5. It's a must watch film.
