Em Louise

I bought this not knowing it was a children's book. It was a good story, but the writing was very young. I would like to see a rewrite with adults as the target demographic as the ties to Catholicism were interesting and could be further explored. 3*

It was weird... A post-apocalyptic nightmare containing short flashes of juxtaposed and, at times, nonsensical imagery, with structure and pacing that is comparible to REM stage of sleep. I was on edge, confused as hell, and have no idea what I just read, but... I loved it?
