Speechless. I kind of knew ABOUT this, but to watch this unfold, assuming its held true to traditional customs....was rather gutting for me. This is humanity at its worst, and at its best. It is also a portrayal of trauma, a education on ripping families apart as a custom, the shocking ignorance of cultural norms - a refrigerator being more important than human lives. A deep cultural dive, always the most educational for us folks not witness, into the amazing culture this peaceful culture so ostracized, and yet the beacon for family life and could easily be a guide to the world on how to live in harmony with our earth.
