At first I would convey my heartiest respect to Rima Das who gives us an another epic work after "Village Rockstar". "Bulbul Can Sing", the name is exceedingly remarkable. The movie carries a very significant message through a simplistic way which shows the identity of a particular society that dominates spontaneous flow of heart's intense feelings of a female figure, Bulbul. It shows societies moral codes and superstition that stand as a hindrance of expressing someone's feelings and as a result of expressing that feelings become a fault for a society for which the one who express those feelings sometime has to depart from living state to death. But, the movie also encourages us by the character of Bulbul that she is not a kind of dominated one. She can sing "Bulbul can Sing".
