Adore isn't a collection of songs as much as this beautifully sad tapestry of loss and gloom. It's profound, poetic, and an experience to listen to in its entirety. It's perfect. Blank Page, Tear, Daphne Descends, are highlights for me.

Yet again, it's just wild that the original "greatest rock n roll band in the world" from the early 1960s, can still pull it out. People said that by the mid '70s, again in the '80s, '90s...it's insane we're saying again in 2005. This album is really good, and as another record breaking live show/world tour it's phenomenal. This record's only failing is being too long—a lot of songs could be cut.

Did Mick & Keith and the original bad boys, OG punk rockers, the archetypal 1st coolest rock band in history and template for what Rock n Roll should look, feel, sound like...just make the record of the year, in their 7th decade? What in the world!? From radio rock singles to punk, country, pop, ballads, an epic soul/gospel finale, and a raw vintage lo-fi bluesy encore to bring it full circle (back to the literal naming of their band) after of course talking Paul McCartney into playing bass on a foul mouthed punk track. This album is ridiculous, unnecessary, completely over the top and shockingly entertaining.
