I got this on Cassette the week is was released when I was 15. I was in a very different place at the time. We went from living very comfortably in a nice house with a pool in a nice community, to the ghetto, literally. And my parents got divorced as well. This album helped me deal with depression and anxiety like no other. I would put it on my ghetto blaster put on my headphones at night laying in my “room” (a shed on the side of a travel trailer) and drift off to higher plains. It is a phenomenal musical masterpiece that I still listen to regularly today, I still have my OG cassette and later got it the CD BOX. Steve Vai’s guitar solo on “Ease” is probably the best solo ever recorded. If you haven’t listened to this, do yourself a favor and check it out it will open new possibilities for your musical journey. Thank you John Lydon for always being the most real person in the world, RIP Nora
