Hard to watch. I believe the movie shows the afterwar life in Leningrad fairly authentically.

This is an amazingly well-done movie with a very subtle and gentle humor. I love it. It is also deeply philosophical and stimulates our thinking about the meaning of life and death, about good and bad, about love and hate. Superb movie!
