Prestin Varcoe

Amandla is an average movie. Honestly at first I was intrigued by the story and where it could probably go. I feel like the writers didn't put enough thought into setting up the story and getting to a point of the story. The cast was great and I think that was the only thing that made the movie watchable. Normally you would have a good story with a bad cast that wouldn't do it justice on screen but this time the cast understood the assignment but unfortunately the writers, producers and director didn't. It was honestly all over the place. If you have nothing to do I would recommend this movie but for a avid movie watchers it's not a must.
