Not at all what I expected. Deals with very real situations that college students, as well as the rest of us, experience and/or witness every day. The show is definitely more about the experience the characters have at college and not so much about Zoey, specifically, since she actually graduates and moves on to her career but the show still revolves around the goings-on for Junior and the other staff/students she leaves behind, per se.
Also, the writers do a wonderful job of staying true to the story-line of Black-ish.
