Love Meat Loaf and musicals but this was so awful I left after 20 minutes. Zero plot, cringe dialogue and not great singing either. I feel bad for the performers. Can't imagine they enjoyed it either. Could have been this particular production was terrible so if you're watching it outside of Australia or in a year or so's time it might be decent?

A very intense film. Someone else reviewed it calling it 'suffocatingly real' and I can't describe it better. I've given it five stars as while the whole film made me sick with anxiety while watching it and depressed afterwards, it had such an emotional impact on me I still think about it almost 10 years later.
