Extensive use of the F word and blasphemy in a book given to children. As a writer myself, I believe the use of swearing is used as a shock tactic where more intelligent use of English would achieve a better result, swearing is unnecessary and debases the English language. Further, the author's transparent and blatant targeting and undermining of people who believe in God is akin to racism, sexism and homophobia. We know the writer is an atheist, but why such passionate revulsion?

This is such an amazing book. My daughter wants the whole collection!
