I think the actors did the best that they could do. I am more upset with the writers. There are so many great things that happen in the books that if you veer so far from the plot they don't make sense anymore. And that is exactly what this show did. I was most upset about the character Bob. In the books he is hysterical. They changed his character so much it broke my heart.
