Ivan Mirinski

This is my one of my favorite movies. It's an epic tale of two soulmates and their lives spanning hundreds of years which overlap in this movie. Featuring great performances by Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz, amazing design and cinematography, as well as brilliant writing, Darren Aronofsky steals the show.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a very influential anime series. Without it, I don't think anime would be as successful as it is today due to the large audience that it managed to captivate with it's sci-fi story. However, I think that this movie overshadows the main point of the series -- of hope and change, only to deliver a much requested action-packed sequence. It's on par with the series in any other point except on purpose, and that's its biggest downfall.

This is one of my most beloved movies of all time. The characters are witty and interesting, the cinematography is simple, but very effective, and the story is relatable. After working a number of years as a clerk, that experience has made me appreciate the movie even more.
