Tick in the box, seen it, can now forget I went to the cinema last night - unless someone tells me Tarantino is brilliant and then my non-plussed frustration can rise to the surface and offer a contrary view.
Could hardly understand a word Al Pacino said - don’t know what his part added to the film - the whole film needed English subtitles. This was a montage purporting to reflect 60s Hollywood (overlaid dates implying documentary) - but my kids wouldn’t have a clue that the script and shots based on Eastwood, Manson, Tate reality of the time, indicated Hollywood transformation in the 60s. I was waiting for an ending to come, and it did, with relief. Don’t let the big star names delude you, this is 3 star not a great film.
