Rain

This was truly such a wonderful experience. The story was so meaningful and something I never quite seen before. The themes of protecting nature, hurtful misunderstandings and acceptance of others were so well executed, much better than I could ever describe. It made me smile, cry, fear and feel so much empathy towards the beautifully designed characters. The animations are stunning, especially in the forest, where the lines are expressive and flow into each other. I just learned it's to reflect the caged in nature of the city and freedom of the wolves in the forest. You can tell it's from an independent film studio, and I mean it in the best way possible, both in the story and art! And there's such good songs too in a Celtic style. Wolfwalkers is now one of my favorite movies, and if you haven't already you need to watch it!

-The story is beautiful and actually made me cry as I felt so much compassion for the characters. I felt that the characters had similar problems to me and that the story handles important themes like being alone, attempted suicide or government corruption. -The animation is gorgeous! The unique artstyle was incredibly made with flowy animations, detailed enviorment and expressive characters. -The setting well crafted with an almost cyberpunk side paired with your medieval fantasy style. I'm usually not a fan of combining these two genres but Nimona does this perfectly.
