I drive Uber on weekend nights in San Francisco for my own emotional therapy. Over the years I have had plenty of encounters like this movie with young female tech professional transplants navigating life. Most of the dialogue was very predictable and cliche.
However it was still captivating to watch the facial expressions of Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn. And of course Dakota herself is easy on the eyes.
Recommend for folks (esp women) in their 20s to early 30s as these situations are highly probable in that stage of life.
Sean Penn’s depiction of men was chillingly accurate.
