This world is so homophobic. There was a 10 second scene of two women WHO WERE ENGAGED, standing next to a tree. I thought most religions preached and practiced “love thy neighbor.” And honestly I would hate to be around many of you. I’m sure there are many families who are now finally being represented in media. No one is talking about the slow-motion scene of Superman and Louis Lane being intimate- which was very cringy. Not to mention, they weren’t engaged.
As far as the movie- I thought the storyline was lacking and even heard a little one in the audience saying multiple times “this scene sucks!”
or “ughh, it’s boring” LOL. It was very colorful and featured all of DC’s superstar superheroes.
Once we left, my 12-year old sister mentioned that she loved the movie despite the villain constantly getting on her nerves. Haha, I think that was the point.
I can say I should have waited until this was on a streaming service. However, my little one wanted to see it very badly (due to the hype) and I just couldn’t resist a trip to the theatre.
