A simply terrific film with something for everyone. This was a colorful, soulful masterpiece of a film. We've gotten some pretty shallow and pitiful third installments from other Marvel Hero films and while this isn't an Endgame sort of movie, it is quite heartfelt and oddly charming. I always judge movies based on if I'll see them a second time and this is a definitely one of the films I'll watch again. It's quite refreshing after a slew of bland films from an otherwise reputable film/comic Goliath. I'm glad they let Gunn direct this, as it reminds me of the old Era of Marvel, back when it was about showing the growth and development of its heroes instead of 2 and a half hours of senseless jokes. It's the one thing that I love about GOTG, it's always balanced both.
