A very simple love story that unfolds within a fantasy setting. Requires you to suspend reality. And it’s easy to do in this movie.
More appealing to a younger audience than Beatlemaniacs of 1960s and 1970s looking to reconnect to a time/ place in the past. The audience was overwhelmingly the latter, who stayed through the credits to listen to Paul McCartney sing Hey Jude.
Good acting. Good story. You won’t be disappointed. Just don’t expect too much.
