The limited amount of screen time Godzilla has, has completely taken me out of this franchise. It’s a movie named Godzilla, yet you see Godzilla for MAYBE 30% of the film. It’s filled with a semi decent story from the humans perspective & other monsters….. cool…… don’t f*#!*!# KILL GODZILLA 45 MINUTES INTO THE MOVIE AND MAKE ZOMBIE GODZILLA COME BACK WITH 30 MINUTES TO GO.

This is a clearly low budget movie that does some key things right. Vaughn delivers (other than his physical movement) when it comes to his character. It’s got an interesting story, & even though you can guess where it’s going halfway through the movie, you still want to see it through. Interesting movie that would’ve & could’ve been better given a more appropriate budget.

Some situational stories just aren’t meant to be made into a movie. No solid acting mixed with unrealistic stuff just ruined this movie from the get go. One minute his buddy is blown up 10 feet away from him, then a sand storm passes and his buddy is 2 inches away. It’s slow, it’s got a terrible script & there’s a slew of inaccuracies that even a civilian can point out isn’t legit.

This movie was made for 10 year olds. While it’s got a few solid moments, it lacks creativity & (despite an all star cast) it lacks actual good acting. 3 stars because of the cast, CGI & action.

⚠️ PLAGUED WITH FALSE BAD REVIEWS⚠️ Most of the bad reviews on here are people obsessed with basic movies like dhanjo unchained. People struggle to digest a movie that didn’t end the way THEY wanted even though it has a completely normal ending. This story IS NOT linear and unfortunately people take that as “this is a bad movie” instead of “i had to think for more than 2 seconds”. Good acting, solid story. Makes you ponder the true acts of war and how nothing has changed when it comes to how community feels about war.
