I felt that Chris Matthews left under a cloud of criticism. My view of him was that he was intelligent and had a lot of insight. But his antagonistic and rude manner was disturbing. His constant interruption of his guests was annoying and made me wonder why anyone would go on his show knowing that they would be treated badly. In this time of negative politics, we don't need another rude and arrogant older male on the air. I won't miss him.
