This film was an absolute BLAST to watch!! You've probably heard it all before, but I'll say it again: the animation in this movie is stunning!! the stylized look that gives off Spider-Verse vibes while still being unique to the movie just makes it 10x better. The characters are also memorable, lovable and charming. The plot was decent enough, but nothing too special. That doesn't mean I wasn't invsted in the movie the whole time - because I was!! One thing I don't hear mentioned enough though is Daniel Pemberton's soundtrack here - this is one of his best works. I have been listening to the Bad Guys soundtrack on repeat for two weeks straight now - I have over 400 plays on the same song on Spotify (in case you were wondering, it's Secret Hideout). The jazzy tunes really just add another level of depth to the movie and just made me love every second of it. Honestly, one of DreamWorks' best movies. I haven't enjoyed a DreamWorks movie like this in quite some time. Definitely would watch again and two thumbs up!! highly recommend!!
