A director's movie. Amazing how Rajini agreed to do this one. Hats off. Content is the hero. not stars. Very engrossing and keeps you interested.most importantly, very rarely we see a superhero admitting his mistake in Indian movies.

The concept of eroding corruption at home is excellent. But, the execution is old style. More importantly the music is 1970s.

FDFS in USA. Beast first half - Nelson formula continues. Dark comedy combined with crime. Interesting. No usual Vijay gimmicks. Thats a relief actually. second half - nelson continues his narrative but plays to Vijay’s image and the movie got extended for no reason. Definitely watchable. Nelson did it again. Spoiler - Thalpathy seems to be more talented than Bruce Willis and Rambo Stallone as he can take Fighter jet planes like we take vadagai cycle to bring terrorist leader (like we bring briyani) ...LOL

Petta - Stylishly made movie with a very absorbing screenplay with all the Rajni elements. All the characters woven very well with a lot of surprise elements. Music and photography are a big plus point for the movie. Th length of the movie could be a slight negative factor. But overall an engaging entertainer for the family.

Saw FDFS at Dallas, TX. The message and treatment of the plot in the first half is very effective and crisp. The plot loses its momentum and purpose in the second half by promoting Vijays's political ambitions with a unrealistic narration. They are expecting politicians to comment and help the movie in the box office. I am sure it will happen too.

Super deluxe- not a movie for family audience certainly , performances goes waste because of the characterization, failed to understand all the hype, technically well made, lengthy irritating narration. Overall, Invokes some adult humor in parts, but the content failed to impress. I am an ordinary movie fan , not the extraordinary intellectual types. Lately, the liberal use of the f*** word in Indian movies seems to be a fashion to display modern thinking. Sad.

Nelson sticks to his earlier film’s format , ordinary people handling extraordinary gangster situations with an underlying humor tone. But doing that with a hero like Sivakarthikeyan is a challenge and he lives up to it only in patches.

Master - 3 hours movie - plot is the usual good Vs bad - managed to keep to the audience interested - Vijay Sethupathy steals the show without any doubt...What an actor !

Rajamouli has excelled as a film maker but fell short as a storyteller.

Darbar - has its own screenplay deficiency and logic defying scenes.Murugadoss failed to provide a good platform for Rajini. But, it’s still a treat for Rajini fans for most part except for the last 30 mins. Thanks to the RAJINI SWAG which is outstanding. One man carrying the entire movie on his own charisma is not so easy. That too after 43 years in the industry. That’s sheer dedication. Hats off Thalaiva !
