This show should never have been given the green light. In what world could producers think it a good idea to adopt and completely alter, nay, destroy a story that captivated consumers of all ages for more than a decade? There is no similarity to the books/game and this show except the characters, locations, and a microscopic version of a human-covenant war. Additionally, who is the intended audience?! Those who are familiar with Halo are faced with a disgusting reinvention of what was once a beautiful, creative, and captivating universe, thrusting it’s audience into perfect fantasy. Those unfamiliar with this show have been presented with a cookie-cutter generic iteration of a second-rate sci-if drama. I am disappointed beyond belief in the direction this show has gone and will not be tuning in any further. For those who would like to recover from this cesspool and be reminded how great Halo actually is, I would recommend the books as they provide an impressive “alternate universe” to the events presented in the game.
